Meet Our New Midwife,Brianna Jacobs, CNM

LoneTree OBGYN & Midwives is excited to announce that certified nurse midwife, Brianna “Bri” Jacobs has joined our team.

Bri comes to us having specialized as an RN working in various pediatric specialties such as Neonatal Intensive Care and Pediatric Intensive Care. She also trained at two birth centers before landing at LoneTree OBGYN & Midwives. She attended Frontier Nursing University for Midwifery and received her nursing degree from Western Carolina University. She also has a Spanish degree from the University of North Carolina. Bri grew up in Asheville, NC, but has called Denver home for the last 15 years.

Pregnancy and babies have fascinated Bri since childhood. No stranger to their philosophy of care, she has seen nurse midwives for her own health journey and for the birth of her children. After the birth of her second baby the whisper to be a midwife became a calling.

Bri is passionate about choice and bodily autonomy. She loves to offer her patients traditional and non-traditional medical options and considerations when it comes to their health. As with many certified nurse midwives Bri takes a special interest in nutrition, breastfeeding support, and mental health for all her patients.

She lives with her husband and 2 kids in South Denver. On days off you are likely to find her deep in the mountains camping with her family, running, or listening to podcasts.
